On March 2nd, 2013 ISF hosted its annual Bay Area Education and Career Counseling Forum at UC Berkeley. We had great speakers and for those who missed the event, are undecided about their major, or are studying engineering or medicine, but have interest in another major (film, media, journalism, writing, law, public policy, religious studies, non-profit management) this video is for you.
Our panelists covered the following areas:
Solution to current issues affecting American Muslims in regards to Muslims’ underrepresentation in professions that influence public policy and public opinion;
Introducing college/high school students and parents to majors in the Social Sciences, Humanities, Liberal Arts and Law with a special focus on Film, Media, Journalism, Writing, Religious studies, Law and Public Policy.
